Background
Swaroop has 13 years’ experience in the Construction and Demolition industry. His work on a variety of projects in demolition, environmental remediation and commercial construction gives him a breadth of expertise, which he has applied to contribute to the success of numerous projects, both internationally and across New Zealand.
This includes projects where he has acted in the capacity of Project Manager, QC Manager, Senior Engineer, and Project Scheduler. Background
Chirag is a skilled Senior Project Manager who combines international experience in large scale earthworks projects with excellent understanding of the controls and specialised requirements needed to successfully carry out environmental remediation and deconstruction projects.
Chirag joined Ceres NZ from our parent company in the USA, where he managed large scale earthwork projects consisting of 7 miles of Levee construction in Louisiana.
Originally based at the Head Office in Christchurch, he has progressed into the role of Senior Project Manager for the North Island and is now based in Wellington. In this role, Chirag has been involved in managing small- and large-scale demolition projects and asbestos remediation works.

Background
Ian has over 40-years’ experience in demolition in multiple countries including New Zealand, Australia, UK, and the Middle East.
His extensive knowledge spans all types of demolition equipment and methodologies for using these, including excavator attachments, tilt buckets, hammers, concrete pulverisers, grapples, and 360 steel sheers.
He has over 1000 hours of high reach demolition experience and is also highly skilled in top-down demolition. With his vast knowledge of demolition, Ian is an integral member of our team and has contributed to the success of numerous projects.

Ryan has worked in the asbestos industry for 20 years. He supervised large projects in the UK, before moving to New Zealand. Ryan manages contracts around the country. Ryan is a respected member of our team, with a reputation for leading from the front.

Background
Phil started out in the asbestos removal industry in 2012 where he worked on a variety of projects from residential to commercial buildings, removing friable and non-friable materials using the latest methods and equipment. This includes leading and directing teams of up to twenty personnel. After impressing in a supervisor role, he moved onto managing a demolition team on the Firestone project where he carried out the hazardous material removal before demolishing the 25,000m2 structure. Phil’s “no can do” attitude has seen him excel in his new role and has since managed and carried out the large-scale demolition of the Invercargill CBD project and is currently managing the new Dunedin Hospital project.

Background
Matt has worked in the demolition industry for 25 Years. This includes 13 years spent working in the UK, and five years in the Middle East.
Having worked around the globe for several international companies, Matt has gained significant demolition expertise.
He is a highly experienced operator and is skilled in the operation of excavators from 1 to 100-ton, high reach excavators, as well as front-end loaders, dozers, bobcats, and dump trucks.
His project experience spans multiple, different demolitions including multi-storey mechanical and cut-and-crane deconstruction, bridges, and under-water structures.

Tracey has 6 years working in the construction industry. She has worked on large-scale long-term projects. Her main role is overseeing the health & safety on-site from checking sub-contractor site paperwork to carrying out full health and safety audits. Tracey’s hands on approach and ability to learn different works taking place on-site has seen her undertake asbestos training, working at heights and handling of hazardous substances to enable her to get a good understanding of all aspects of site works. Jeremy has 8 years’ experience in the asbestos removal industry. He is the latest of our staff to achieve his class “A” license to supervise and direct teams of personnel and has also completed has completed a company training in asbestos awareness and the use of RPE, PPE and asbestos equipment.
